Here is a mind boggler :
- While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles with it.
- Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand. ...... your foot will change direction !
It's a great little demonstration & exercise of the peculiar limits of the body's motor-functions.
ReplyDeleteIt allows you to appreciate the feat of physical conditioning that has to take place before you can keep 4 separate times with your 4 limbs & achieve proficiency as a drummer.
See not as quick to do as they make it look ;P
